The
city of Colón is outstandingly beautiful, specially for people
who want to get in touch with Mother Nature.
We, at Itaicorá , have been "breaking ground" in this
type of tourism, for the last eleven years. Having started, back in ´93,
with an ultralight amphibious aircraft, flying delighted tourists over
this privileged part of the world. This service was discontinued in '96
due to high aviation costs.

Colón
is a perfect link, a marvelous stopover, on these tourist
trails bound for Iberá lagoons, and eventually Iguazú
falls, or coming from Brazil's voluptuous jungles, for this increasing
number of Europeans and foreigners in general that
crave for virgin grounds.
These
alluring islands are an ideal introduction to this tropical
rain forest that can only be found on these
isles and on low river banks.
This range, teeming with wildlife, has over two hundred
different species of birds that can be seen and heard.
Many mammals stalk, swim and prowl the area, with a low
profile due to the bad press we humans have in this habitat.
All year round we can discover flowering plants, trees and
vines and appreciate how this environment behaves.

This
part of the country, as the rest of the world for that matter, is
under attack of senseless, short sighted human beings. It is therefore
so important to show and consequently protect this privileged part
of our planet. Do stop over to have a good look.
If Mother Nature is right up your alley, you'll love it.

Itaicora
Aventura was created in 1993 by two families that decided back then,
to exchange a jungle of cement, macadam and deafening noises, for
a jungle formed by trees,
birds and sounds of Nature.
We never looked back, and we'd love to share this with you.
